We now have round and square dances throughout the year, which are open to
the public and held on the first Sunday of each month
from 2:00-5:00 PM at the Valencia United Methodist Church,
25718 McBean pkwy, Santa Clarita, CA (Directions)
(Rounds start at 2:00PM, Squares at 2:30PM)

Come for the Fall Beginner Classes,
on Tuesday nights for exciting and fun
Square Dancing Classes taught to a variety of music
from disco to country with a little rock & roll thrown in.

The Sierra Hillbillies Square and Round Dance Club will begin
a new 9 week series of Beginner's Square Dance Classes, from 6:30-9:00 P.M. at
Valencia Meadows Park, 25671 Fedala Road, Valencia
The class will cover "Basic" square dance patterns.

These classes are a great opportunity to experience America's folk dance
in an enjoyable, fun atmosphere; dress is casual; hugging is encouraged;
and refreshments are provided. Learning to square dance is a great way
to get to know the residents of your community, build friendships and
acquire a dancing skill that you can use all over the world.

Beginner's Square Dance Classes consist of 10 weeks of lessons
for each of three levels (Basic, Mainstream and Plus) from September to August.
No partner is necessary; "angels" (experienced dancers) will pair up
with you to help you learn the calls. For more info see:
